About Ciccone Vineyard & Winery

Ciccone Vineyard & Winery is a family passion project that brings authentic Italian winemaking tradition to the rolling hills of Leelanau Peninsula. Founded by Tony Ciccone, the estate draws on his Italian-American heritage to produce wines that honor Old World traditions while embracing New World terroir.

The vineyard sits on a beautiful hilltop property with views across Leelanau's agricultural landscape. The estate grows a mix of European vinifera and hybrid varieties, producing a diverse portfolio that ranges from dry, food-friendly reds to aromatic whites and sweet dessert wines.

Ciccone's Dolcetto and Cabernet Franc are standouts in the red wine category, showing an Italian-influenced elegance and structure. The Gewürztraminer and Pinot Grigio are aromatic and refreshing, perfect for warm-weather sipping.

The tasting room experience is intimate and personal, reflecting the family's genuine hospitality. Visitors often find themselves chatting with family members behind the bar, learning about the wines and the stories behind them.

Fun Fact
Ciccone Vineyard & Winery is owned by Silvio Ciccone — the father of Madonna — who moved back to his Michigan roots and planted a vineyard in the 1990s. The family connection makes Ciccone one of the more celebrity-adjacent wineries in the American Midwest, though the wines speak entirely for themselves.
